Nevis, home of the world's largest tiger muskie, is located on the east end of beautiful Lake Belle Taine and is the gateway to the Paul Bunyan State Forest. The famous 27-mile Heartland Trail connects Park Rapids, Dorset, Akeley, Nevis, Walker and Cass Lake. Nevis offers several public recreational facilities such as a public beach, park, dock, boat ramp and public access to Lake Belle Taine. Our surrounding 1,000 lakes and beautiful northwoods setting provide residents and visitors with four seasons of recreational activities. _______________________________________
NEVIS CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
The Nevis city council meetings are held the second Monday of each month beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the City Administration Building, council chambers.
